About

Not Jam Blackletter 13 is a 13px height blackletter font, perfect for old manuscripts, religious tomes or other antique texts. While not recommended for longer paragraphs, it's perfect for titles, headings or short snippets of flavour text. Set font size to multiples of 13 in order to render correctly.

The font is 13px in height (10px max ascender, 3px max descender) and available for use in any commercial or non-commercial projects, without limitation.

Download includes the font in .ttf format and a copy of the licence.

If you use this font in your work I'd love to see it! Leave links in the comments below and I'll check them out

Also included within this pack is Not Jam Blackletter 16 - a 16px height font using the same letter forms as Not Jam Blackletter 13, but with added support for most Latin-1 Supplemental and Latin Extended A unicode characters

If you're using this font to emulate old blackletter manuscripts, I highly recommend using justified text for a more authentic look, as in the following example:

Dude this is legit the most beautiful font I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much for these weekly releases and making them available to everyone, you are a Saint.

Thanks so much! This was definitely the trickiest to make so far, so really happy to hear it's appreciated :)

Hoping to make at least a few more - depends how many ideas I can come up with!
