The first game I ever made!

Inspired by the story of 1982s ET game, which was made within 5 weeks in order to ship for Christmas, I wanted to see if I was able to create something within the same time frame. At the time, I didn't know anything about game development, coding or pixel art, so I thought it'd make a fun challenge!

I can't remember the reason for the theming, if there was a reason to begin with.
