The first game I ever made!

Inspired by the story of 1982s ET game, which was made within 5 weeks in order to ship for Christmas, I wanted to see if I was able to create something within the same time frame. At the time, I didn't know anything about game development, coding or pixel art, but I wasn't about to let that stop me.

The final result is messy, far from pretty, and, uh, confused thematically (I'm sure it made sense to me at the time), but I made it within my self-imposed deadline, and I loved the experience so much I've continued to make games and pixel art.
