Post-jam update, with a multitude of bug fixes and QOL improvements identified by players.


Updates

  • Increased default brightness and adjusted min/max values for brightness slider in response to player feedback.
    • Please note: default brightness is not updated for players with existing save files to prevent overwriting values set by players during previous playthroughs.
  • Delayed return of control to player at end of final cutscene to prevent chase sequence beginning too early.
  • Added audio sfx to all menus and inventory (thanks to FriedChitin for the suggestion!).



Bug Fixes

  • Fixed major bug allowing player to hide in a corner during the final chase sequence, which could potentially lead to a hard lock state (thanks to JustBrianChan for identifying this).
  • Fixed major bug allowing player to click main menu options multiple times, which could lead to game hanging when scene changed (and fixed some highly problematic background code causing the crash itself).
  • Fixed bug which would prevent player's inventory being reset on new game.
  • Fixed bug causing misalignment of items and text within inventory screen.
