ABOUT
Closer is a short experience created in 72 hours for Mini Jam 176, with the limitation "flipping a coin as a mechanic". This was a LATE SUBMISSION.
Closer is currently an endless game with no win state - let me know what round you get up to in the comments!
The shop is also a little sparse at the moment, I'll aim to add a few more items over the next few days to give some more options for your runs. Would love to hear suggestions!
The CRT effect can be disabled via the ingame settings menu, if you'd prefer to play without.

Yeah so you are basically have to pray that you get the cashback powerup to get enough cash to reach the higher rounds, otherwise pretty intimidating

Cool little game, the sfx are really fitting. I got to round 7 on my first try.
FYI I tried playing in Chrome and the text wouldn't load inside the monitor. I switched to Firefox and it solved the issue.
Thanks for playing, and for letting me know about the chrome issue - it's working on my end which is really odd. My guess would be something to do with the shaders, I'll keep an eye out for any other reports to see if I can figure out what's up with it
